It has been 10 years since the release of the tracklists. I released all my tracklists December 2001. Up till then they were on my computer and that is where they stayed. Mid October 2001 I decided to launch my tracklists on the old domain I used to post to.

Bodypump Celebrates 75 Releases

Congratulations on 75 releases. A big part of the success of this program goes to Michael J McSweeney who lead the program releases up until release 58. He was primarily responsible for taking Bodypump to the world and through his successful leadership as the program director for Bodypump made the program what it is today around the world. Through his leadership, he was able to develop the program to a point where it became "The worlds leading weight based training program to music."

Congratulations on release 75. Although Michael has not been with the program since release 58, he is to be congratulated for his massive contribution to the success of Bodypump internationally.

Bodypump would not be what is is today of he was not the program director for Bodypump for well over a decade or more.

Michael J Mcsweeney, congratulations :)

Les Mills Forums

There seems to be some sort of negativity on their forums.

I really don't understand what has happened to their forums? I think that there are bigger issues in the world than the negativity on their forum. I have learned in the last 2 years that it is only a forum where people place their thoughts and that there are a range of view-points going on there.

There are a number of people who think the forum needs moderation. They decided to allow it to self moderate meaning they thought that as adults they would act responsible and post correctly. Now comes the issue of a forum out of control. There seems to be a main point here that the forum can work un-moderated. The issue is that people are over 18+ there posting it would assume that they can act responsible and post as adults.

The other issue is that there is a wider audience going there and that seems to be the crux of another issue that this part of their site is viewed by the wider community in particular under 18 are going to the forum to read the forums.

The whole forum issue also comes with a certain amount of freedom to say what you want to say. To have what is said respected. To be able to write in a forum and simply leave the forum and come back to see what replies have been made. It is a as simple as that. Respect the rights of other view points and not to ride over people and try to embarrassed them or others in any reply back. To some extent this is the central issue of posting in a forum. You are not going to agree with everyone, some people have different view-points, others are going to disagree with what you say.

I have also learned via my studies over the past 2-years that I need to step back and listen to what others have to say. To simply say occasionally I am wrong, or have information that can be changed via an open exchange of ideas. Through doing this I have changed the way I think about certain teaching thoughts I have had in the past. I now have new ideas, and changed the way I now think about teaching. I now have new approaches to what I do now as trainer and assessor. That is the great thing about a well run forum you can learn from others and don't take it personally that you don't know the full picture. I have learned new ideas from the lecturers teaching me and fellow class mates in our on line learning environment.

To me this is learning and I am not afraid to say please expand my knowledge and help me learn new ideas.

On a personal note I loved posting in the forums originally. I don't now. I have read allot of bad things there over the past 9 months. As they are nor serving the best business interests of LMI. They are doing the exact opposite. I suspect that RF and BTS USA are delighting themselves in what is going on there. It can only serve to increase their product range of products at the detriment of the current situation in their corporate forums.

Which currently are rather embarrassing to Les Mills International where members (participants and instructors) are not representing LMI to their best business interest.

Denied the Right to Post

Up until Monday this week I was posting on the main Les Mills Forums. I was a member of that forum since February 2007. I enjoyed posting there and really liked answering peoples questions and getting involved in the general chats on the site.

Now it is impossible for me to post there because I feel un-welcome there. I feel as If I was to post there then it may end up not so cool. The thing is I just wanted to post there and talk to others who have my passion for Bodypump and also Bodybalance. Thats it and thats whaI I wanted to do.

To go to a forum that has been apart of my life since 2007 and it has been a daily visit there to not being able to go there and post is not cool. Because I have no idea who is going to enter the thread and what they are going to say to me there. I have no control of what people write in each thread there and choose not be a part of a thread where I have no idea where and who is going to take it in another direction. So to avoid that I cannot post there :(

From now I will never be able to post there.

Rather sad to say the least.

Hi been along time since I have posted on this part of the blogger. I have updated and created a new tracklist site for Bodypump by Glen Ostergaard.

Located at the blogger. Click on Glens Site to the right to access that blogger. I am in the process of doing the same for this part of the blogger.

I am trying to place times on the older releases as I only have back to PUMP 20 and need to do some homework on the earlier releases.

That should be here by the end of June.

Been awhile and a new business!

Ithas been an awesome 6 months. I am in the middle of working with my best mate on our new business here in Australia (Bisbane and Adelaide) and it has been a hard job creating a new company from scratch.

We are excited about our new business and I will post more on that here in coming weeks. We are going global and have launched our website.

This is the longest break I have had posting here for a very long time. Over 3 months in the last 4 years which is the biggest break.

Firstly, Bodypump 63 is one of the best in the 60's series of Bodypump.

Like the new moves and enjoyed track 4 heaps :)

This site is now three years old abck in 2004 the site was started pretty much underground. I just wanted to post things on Bodypump. Around late 2004 the site became less underground. Which is pretty much the way it should be.

What's Up - BODYPUMP 60 - BODYPUMP 30!

I maybe slow on the uptake but just last night I put on Bodypump 30 and was halfway through it and on came the lunge track it is the same song as Whats Up - Zander, the other is Whats Up by DJ Milko. Which means it took 8 years for that track to re-appear in Bodypump. I like the lunge track on Bodypump 30 lots but then I also like the same song as a track 2 on Bodypump 60.

Don't know what to say. That is a first I guess. When I started this site and the BODYPUMP® site along time ago.

I guess that I thought nothing really about it. Latley I am amazed latley that what I say here is being used all over the place. I really don't mind that at all. Please reference anything from this site and link back here please. Some sites have actually said they have written what I have here and I guess that is sad to see. I write here my own personal thoughts and feelings about things and guess that I knew that when the site became public that people may read what I say here.

Hannah Wolff - My Guest Book!

I have posted well over 180 artist entries here since the site began in 2004. This is the oldest of the blogs I run an operate around the place on various subjects and topics. Sometimes I search the world wide web and discover the music of wonderful singer. Hannah Wolff is one of them and the music of her band is another. Around November 2005 about 12 moths ago I came across her music and wanted to share it with everyone. Hannah visited my guestbook for this site (you can check her entry there.)

Artists like Hannah are a rare listening pleasure and please visit her site and get to know her wonderful music there.

I hope that everyone likes the new site. It has been a work under development for 5 months or so. I wanted the site to have a different look and feel to that of this site and wanted to leave this site as a dedication to Mr Bodypump - PumpFrog (Michael J McSweeney.) Will write here when something Michael happens and when something occurs at his new venture.

Michael has been a large influence in my life and his music his Bodypump has a special place in my heart.

Michael you are sorely missed and look forward to what you have coming out this year.

All I can say is that Bodypump 59 is awesome. Have tons to say about the new release, will say that on the new site.

Highlight tracks are 4 - 7 - 8 love that type of music.

Supermode 'Tell Me Why' was released latley, it was originally a hit by Bronsky Beat. I love Bronsky Beat and their music and enjoyed all their music.

Bronski Beat was one of the best things about the music of my generation. I adore their music and loved their videos :)

I adore Bodypump 21 and adore evey release he has appeared on. I have a special attachment to Bodypump 35 where we putting away the step was not the thing to do as we used it in that track.

3 months of articles on the new site!

I commenced posting articles on the new site on July 2006 it has been a mammoth task getting the site together. Now have 35 good articles there written over the period of 3 months.

By the time the site will be launched I should have 4 months of good articles there and a new concept for Bodypump 59, which I am excited about.

I showed the new site to a few people and they liked the new look.

They liked the differences beween this site and the new one. :)

I am excited about the new direction of the new site!

The new site focuses on everything Bodypump as well as issues relating to Exercise and Fitness.

Articles on the fitness industry and articles on exercise perscription will be there. They will be in a new section on the blogger a mini-blogger will be at the bottom of the new site.

Gym Instructor Zone!

Just added to the Activeforum a new section called Gym Instructor Zone. The aim of that part of the forum is to discuss exercises that are outside of Bodypump.

I am excited about the addition to the forum and will start things off tomorrow with a few articles.

If you have a question about plyometrics - weight training - programmes - exercise perscription - swiss ball training then that is the place to talk about it.

I am a registered gym instructor - qualifed resistance trainer and swiss ball technician.

I look forward to discussing exercise there :)

New Tracklist Site for Bodypump!

As of release 59, Michaels track site will no longer be used. I am moving to a new site for Bodypump 59 forward. The site for Michaels Bodypump will stay there and be updated when things do change.

On the new site there will be more functionality.

The new sites should be running within a short space of time. That is the reason why I have not been posting here latley I am getting the new sites functioning. They are close to being right for the move over. :)

I am aiming for that so when the move occurs you will have something to read there. The content on the site is new and has not been seen on this site.

It is weird writing material that I can only see, and entering posts there only at the current time I can read.

I also have a profile on trainers and instructors there that is going to expand out. If you want to be profiled there please let me know :)

The big move is coming up!

Towards the end of August 2006 this site will move to a new location where the story and journey of Bodypump by Glen Ostergaard will continue. I personally would like to thank everyone who has visited this site in the last 2 1/2 years I really do appreciate it.

The site is made possible via my dear friends at Les Mills International for allowing me to have this site on their blog site. I am forever in their debt for that.

The new site is coming along really well. Glen's site will rock and I am so very happy with the way it looks.

The journey continues on the 1st September 2006!

Where I am from "Ready to Go" - Republica are making the rounds of a national ad campaign. The track is no 2 on Bodypump 43.

I love the track everytime I hear the track I want to squat. Republica also appear on the very last Bodypump Drop Dead Georgous track 2.

Following that track is Enter the Sandman - Metalica the best track 3 ever in Bodypump history.

Working Class Dog - Rick Springfield!

I adore the music of Rick Springfield.

On the 25th July 2006 Rick re-released his massive album Working Class Dog which was released in 1981. It has an expanded edition 3 new bonust tracks.

Rick to my generation is an awesome performer he is a complete legend. I have been playing his music all weekend. I recently started to listen to Anthology his Best of CD jammed packed full of hits which has 24 classic Rick tunes on it.

In 2005 Rick also released "The Day After Yesterday" which is an awesome CD.

Rick has had over 20 million record sales and his musical career is taking off again.

Quit Backstreet Boys, the boys will continue to tour without him. They said that he is welcome back anytime.

Meanwhile the boys are thinking about doing a new CD. Nick goes onto say that the guys maybe record a solo track for the new CD.

So they have not broken up as previously stated here.
